What’s new?
We’re pregnant! 4 months in and 5 more to go. Luckily morning sickness has been very minimal but the fatigue is reeaaaal! When I get home from work, the couch and pink fluffy pillow are my best friends.
My mind is in a craze about how it’s already October! Where on earth did the year go? I feel like it went by so quick and here we are again looking forward to Thanksgiving, and then Halloween and then Christmas! 2017, wanna slow it down a bit?
Friday
Chris and his two business partners are opening up a gym here in Winnipeg. Super cool! They’ve been working their butts off planning and getting $h!t done, I couldn’t be more happy for them!
After work Chris and I got dinner to go from our favourite hole-in-the-wall Chinese restaurant New Hong Kong (fried peking perogies = soooo good) and headed to his gym for a meeting. What’s a girl to do to pass the time while the husband-to-be is working? Take selfies and ootd pics of course.

Saturday
What an off day for me. Call me lame but I like to spend a good chunk of my weekends tidying and improving the look of our apartment.. but I felt super tired the whole day and completely unmotivated. Ever get those days? So in between the baby shower and wedding social we had to go to, I was basically in bed or curled up on the couch snacking on Eggo’s and sour cream and onion chips.
Luckily I got up my butt and was able to get ready in a timely manner (although Chris doesn’t like to think so lol). I love the colour palette of this outfit; light, pastelly (did I just make up a word?) hues are more of a Spring time theme but today was the first day in a week where Winnipeg had some sunshine and decent weather! Maybe I also just don’t want to say goodbye to Spring/Summer hues yet.

This was a better and more productive day! After an afternoon of tidying up the apartment and cooking bacon guacamole grilled cheese (MmmMmM) Chris and I had a wedding to go to! It’s starting to get more and more difficult figuring out what to wear now that my preggo belly is constantly growing. I ended up pairing the same off the shoulder top with a pair of culottes – again I’m loving the colour scheme here 😍
